Learn which human foods dogs can eat and which not to feed them.
I try different human foods on my dog after looking them up, but avoid giving pets on sits any human foods unless their people have specified them. That’s because each individual animal is different, might have different sensitivities or allergies, or is on a regimented diet for a reason. I don’t want to disrupt what their humans have them on and potentially hurt them. Plus, if you’re sitting and they get sick, it will be your problem to deal with.
Yeah, I’d say for sits never feed pets anything the owners haven’t specifically okayed. Reasons for any feeding rules could be health-related, they could be behavior-related, they could be random; it doesn’t matter.
