@Samox24 - yeah it’s been really fun & challenging at times (first time with pigs, so lots to learn), but an all round awesome experience with them. They all have unique personalities & quirks about them, but are all super cool. Leave on Wednesday & have a couple of weeks break before my next one.

Been sitting in Eugene for almost 2 weeks now and Mocha, the cat has gotten much friendlier.
And Max and Lily, too.
And even the outdoor critters who are on their own, except for filling the bird feeder every few days.

One of my two charges… leaving tomorrow, which is bittersweet. There are workers at this house. On a Saturday. I can’t be in the backyard with the dogs to play with them and enjoy the space. There are building materials and construction rubble all over the lawn, front, back and sides.
If having workers on the property is against THS policy, and I didn’t agree to them being here on the property, and they’re here anyway, what can I do about it?

Hi @MissChef. I’m sorry to hear about your difficult situation. Construction supplies spread around the yard and work going on while you’re trying to relax is not what anyone wants on a sit. I’m glad you only have one more day.

Yes, it’s one more day, but it’s been happening all week. People have been coming here to do work in the yard, mow the lawn, pest treatments, and this is the 3rd day with construction with a circular saw, nail guns and a compressor.

@Colin you never know, in this small world they might! We had such a great 4.5 month UK sitting adventure in 2022-23 that we are going to do it all again in 2024 for 3 months April-June around some holiday fun in France, Italy & Norway! We are busy planning
