I dont see ( or cant find ) any current info about online meetups. Am I missing something or did they stop doing these? Solo sitting full time can get a bit lonely and its nice to connect with others doing the same thing. If anyone wants to join I was thinking of setting up something then?

Hello, I am a 70 year old Canadian, widowed, newbie, now mid way through a one month sit in Vienna, an amazing city. Wonderful apartment, wonderful dog, living the good life.
My next journey will be a series of sits lasting in total about a month in another country. Is there a way to meet up online or otherwise with others doing sits, within 25-50 km? That would be indispensable to break the isolation.
Vanessa, what a brave step to start the conversation and come out with what many of us are trying to sort out. Kudos!!

This is the specific section for meetups. You can create a thread with the dates and area of the meetup and see if someone nearby is interested.
Threads go down the list if there’s no activity so you can boost it up just by replying to your own thread with a short sentence.

I once tried Alaska and Seattle with no luck but then, coincidentally, someone from Seattle wrote an unrelated post, I DM them and we had a lovely meeting. It’s great to meet with likeminded people.
