I know this has been discussed before but really wish I could block out dates on calendar when not available. I get a lot personal invites when I’m not free. I reply to every invite refusing but getting a bit fed up now as its daily.

Anyone else frustrated with calendar?
EVERYONE is frustrated with the calendar. There have been numerous discussions about it (use the search function). THS are not going to do anything about it so best to just ‘move on’ and maybe create a ‘pro forma’ response that you can use when invited, that’s what I do.

@Sarah22 - you don’t need to do anything as the calendar defaults to unavailable- white-
and sitters can choose to update with the dates that they are available-Green- / blue
Most hosts don’t understand that when the calendar dates are white that means unavailable so invite sitters anyway -
or they don’t look at the availability calendar -
Also the search function ( find a sitter ) for hosts ask them to input the dates they need a sitter but then the list produced includes sitters whose calendars show that they are unavailable- so no wonder hosts send invites !
A simple key that explains the calendar and displays on the calendar page would be a good improvement and has been asked for many times.

I’ve just had a reply from THS basically saying most of what silversitters stated about the calendar. I have replied that I suspect the calendar is being egnored by pet parents looking for a sitter.
I have suggested that they send out a questionnaire to sitters to see how they feel about the subject.
