Well, we do believe that a few HomeOwners do not understand that sitters are volunteers. Ran into HomeOwner in Provence for 2nd time (who should be looking for paid sitter) whose demands are over the top, excessive and aggressively worded with treasured dog and two cats. 3 years ago we were outright refused suggesting we ONLY wanted due to location in Provence. This application, once learning we spoke French and came from corporate jobs she jumped at our application. Once realizing it was her, we backed away as quickly as possible. Having provided our contact she sent numerous āattackā messages.

I think I know who you are talking about. Does her first name start with a C?
If so, she has been banned here from the forum and from other FB housesitting forums.
I actually met her, when we were petsitting in the same city. (Sheās a sitter too) She immediately started attacking my partner for not trying to speak French (even if she spoke good English).
If itās her, I think you dodged a bullet. If not, Iād hate to think there are 2 like that

Yikes! Iām sorry to hear she came back at you so aggressively @Berna! You should definitely package up the message she sent and lodge a complaint with membership services. Wow! Iām glad you dodged that bullet!
