A requirement for HOs to update their listing if the number/type of pets change and the sitter be notified automatically

It is already a requirement in the T&Cs

“ 5.2.7. ensure that the details of your Home Listing are accurate and up to date;

5.2.8. ensure that the details in your Welcome Guide are accurate and up to date in advance of the start of the Sit;

Apparently some sitters do get notifications when WG has been edited -( we never have ) it depends what settings you have in your notifications. But you don’t get told the changes that have been made, just that there has been an edit/ update.

As a sitter, I’ve received an auto-generated notice each time the host updates the WG for our sit. I know that, because one host updated three times. But the notice doesn’t say what was updated.

It would be good if sitters were also notified about listings being edited and could access a copy of the listing from the date when the sit was confirmed .

We take screenshots of the listing and if the sit was confirmed several months in advance, we keep in touch pre sit and ask if there has been any changes since the sit was confirmed .
