Advice for reviewing a sitter that less than ideal

@mtnpups, noted. Easy to imagine that limited housesitter demand would impact selection criteria.
We see same theme from perspective of housesitter. If applying to a very high demand listing then we have no choice but to lessen selection criteria.

Nothing wrong with a couple doing a house sit. Why force a sitter to leave a partner home when they can enjoy each others company while caring for your pets and property?

I sometimes bring my partner, but my profile is just for me. I guess I’m shameless every time I ask if he can come :innocent:

Regarding your bedroom, we don’t allow use of our bedroom so we lock the door. This solves that problem of a sitter entering a space you said was off limits.

Locks don’t sound too trusted to me but yes I’m fine with locked areas. I’m fine with unlocked areas. I’m truly trusted by some!
I understand what no go means too. I try to follow instructions to the letter.
I’m disappointed to read of issues like this. It suggests others can’t follow instructions and we all get painted as dodgy.
Honest reviews are the only way to get untrustworthy Trusted Housesitters out of work. This is a duty of both House Owners and pet Sitters.
Surely it’s a basic of code of conduct.
Whether this trespasser lay on the bed, under the bed or was a Goldilocks and got into the bed! It was wrong!
And they didn’t all live happily ever after! Nor should they have.
Some Home Owners don’t like the idea of anyone else using their personal room. End of. Respect!
