Hello @LizBCN This is a very valid question and yes, to answer your questions Membership Services have received complaints regarding double booked sits, including those booked by solo sitters. As mentioned whilst the majority of members use this responsibly there have been a few cases where this has not happened.
So, the email is a reminder of any double-booked sits and a reminder of the terms about making sure the pets and home are cared for during the sitting period.
Membership Services will always help anyone change their dates if they need to be updated for any reason and if you are not sure why you have got the email then please also reach out to them as they can also look at your account.
