Hi. I’m a new sitter, with one great sit under my belt and three more confirmed. Of course, I have been declined by many homeowners and I’m not taking it personally. However, I’d like to know if “declines” show up on sitters’ profiles, unbeknownst to them. Thanks.

@RichardNYC, congrats on completion of your first housesit and further confirmed housesits. Way to go.
THS profiles - for hosts and housesitters - only show completed housesits. So any declined applications do not a housesitter profiie. And any withdrawn applications do not appear on a host profile.

That’s a great question! As a sitter I wish we could see some sort of icon or filter on the sits that are still open that we’ve already been declined on in the search. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten excited over a sit I was already declined on lol.
REMEMBER, for every sit there is likely to be 4 declines, it is no reflection on you as an applicant.
