I thought this was an interesting idea. Why not start out on your own?
My daughter has joined Rover and regularly now adds a dog to her own. Her partner is thinking of giving up the stressful day job, moving everyone to the country and running a kennel business!
I’m amazed at how many doodles are being taken on and the resulting demand for grooming and washing etc.
This person is testing the water for combining pet sitting and decorating! Sounds like a great Carry On film topic to me!
If you could offer another string to your bow as well as being a great pet sitter what would it be?
I know there are some fantastic spring cleaners out there.
I heard of one sitter who did such an amazing clean she is paid and booked annually now by a wealthy home owner.
I could definitely offer “ reading to your pet” as a retired teacher!
I’d like to combine playing my Saxophone with dog sitting as I’d have no concerns about annoying the neighbours in a house surrounded by fields. It would save money booking rehearsal/practice space.
Note 1: I play very badly, as does my husband.
Note 2: as and when we improve we could arrange gigs in local pubs etc
