You will be asked to remove the link to your listing, as links aren’t allowed on the forum. You can edit the post so that people have the dates and location of your sit, so they can find it without a link.
I know your area very well, and it’s fabulous! My brother and his family used to live on Page, between Lyon and Central, and I visited often. Good luck finding someone.

You do mention that it is best for a single person. Most people don’t want to be alone for both Christmas and New Years, so perhaps opening it up to couples would give you better luck. Also, you mention that they would have to park on the street. How hard is it to find parking or could you research other options for them, if they have a car. You should also list how long your pup can be left alone, so that they can explore the city. Many sitters have made plans for their holidays already, but you still have time. You may be able to locate someone who has friends or relatives in SF, but prefers to have their own space when visiting. Also, it looks like you have at least 4 applicants. You should start contacting them ASAP. Good luck!

Thank you @Lassie @Southernsitter and @BunnyCat for your help and guidance … there will be other members with advice and suggestions I’m sure and one piece of advice would be to search sitters in N CA and proactively invite to stay with Ollie, and you can also boost your listing.

I was contacted by an owner for a month-long sit at St-Jean-Pied-de-Port in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (France). It’s too long for me.
If anyone is interested you can easily find the sit with the name of the town, it is a cute house with 2 cats and fish.
The region is very beautiful, and the winter is not very cold.
I advised them to communicate on the forum.

I’m just a little over 3 weeks out and still looking for a sitter over Christmas. I decorated the tree and added a photo of that to the listing in hopes that it will appeal to someone.
And bonus (!!!) - I just found out that Biltmore Estate, which is stunning during the Christmas season anyway, also has the Van Gogh Alive exhibit during the stay.
