I realise there is most probably no discrimination rules around sitting and it’s completely your choice who you have in your house looking after your pets but please make your preferences clear in your listing. Thank you.

Yes, it’s important to state sitter preferences in the listing title or first paragraph. We’ve applied to a few sits where the response has been: “Sorry, we’re looking for a single female sitter”. It would be helpful to know that before wasting time studying the listing and applying.

Yes I agree. I read all the way through a very long post, then right at the bottom, it said, “single lady required”. The preferences should be in the title.
