Please can someone tell me, why when I check a new add forwarded from THS. It
Dissappears after I’ve read all requirements then when I go to look at the photos at top of add it has Dissappeared. Very. Very. Frustrating!!!
What could be happening is that the sit reaches 5 applicants and goes into reviewing mode whilst you are reading the listing! If that’s the case it will disappear from view as they can no longer receive applicants. If you favourite the sit immediately -before proceeding-at least you’d be to check in your favourites folder and see what happened i e if it went to reveiwing or if another sitter was chosen.
In future if you see a sit already has 3 or 4 applicants and could be of interest to you its a good idea to hit apply to open an application page to ‘save the spot’ Then, preferably on another device, you can quickly read through the listing properly to see if you want to apply or not. If you don’t keep your options open like this is really easy to ‘lose’ a sit as the popular ones can be gone in 5 minutes!
