Hi. Maybe I looking in the wrong place but you used to be able to see the number of applicants to a sit, including those you’ve applied to. I don’t think that’s possible any longer. Now it just shows “You’ve already applied for this sit”. Tried also while logged out but it makes you log in first before showing any detail.
I would be nice as an applicant to see how many other applicants there are, like we used to be able to see.

I’m not sure you can see the number of applicants but with the 5 applicant limit until the listing is paused you can guess it’s somewhere between 1-4 for open listings (although it’s possible 7 applicants could apply if a couple of sitters are applying at the same time).

Sorry, I now see that others have posted about this same topic as far back as last July. Someone said you can still it in the app? Not sure if that’s true. The sit we applied to this weekend is now “reviewing applications”, so it’s a moot point now.
If this is an “enhancement” then I strongly disagree with it.
TH have made things far more difficuilt. Previoulsy if i saw a sit with nil appliocations I coiuld have sent a merssage with application saying that I could do all but last day or two or unable to do first day. They could then say, great I have frineds or a neighbour who would be able to do the last day etc. I also had homeowners contact me and if I have been able to do most of the sit, but not last couple of days, they have been able to get relatives/friends etc, in.
It is just annoying now that it says I am on another sit, when it is possble I could do 12’/13 days of a 14 day sit that is advertised. And a pet owner may have been more than happy with this. Instead they may continue to be left with nil applicants, due to TH’s blocking you from making contact, as on another sit, that may overlap by just one day.
