I have recently noticed one annoying change to TH when searching for a sit. Once you have applied for a sit you can no longer see the number of applicants. It just says “you’ve already applied for this date”. I realise it’s not of utmost importance, but it would be interesting to know how many others I am in comeptition with. I don’t see any logical reason for hiding the number.

I think you can still see it on the app (rather than website), even if you have applied.

Becca is correct, on the app you can see how many others have applied.
What I find annoying is not being able to see how many have applied when we are busy with another sit, I’m a curious cat.

Thanks, I rarely use the app because it’s even more annoying to use, though it’s good to know I can see it there. I do wish TH would be consistent with their features between the app and desktop.

Do you mean that if you are on a sit you can’t see how many applications there are to any other sits?
If you are already confirmed for certain dates for example 1st to 10th of November and another sit comes up on the 8th November to the 20th of November but that HO says that their dates are flexible not only can you not apply for it but you cannot see if anyone else has either. Some sits (in Australia especially) are rural and would not be popular locations. If I knew that no one had applied I would possibly consider contacting TH member services and getting them to contact the HO to see if they could change the dates so that I could apply but I am not going to waste my time if they already have applications.
Also if I can’t do it at all and the sit goes without any applications 
then I hope they don’t get discouraged and they just know that the timing wasn’t right but someone would have loved that sit in the countryside.
