I do, and not just “sorry” or “good morning” which IMHO is more of a habitual behavior but real conversations. They LOVE it

always. and when we’re out for walks we’ll have a chat. i park up at a lot of dog beaches with my van and i always have a bit of a chat with the doggos that go by. the humans occasionally look bemused, but i only care about the dogs anyway. i keep dog treats in my van.

Always, always, always did! And I believe she talked to me as well. I could sometimes determine exactly what she was trying to relay to me.

I say hello to all the doggies/kitties I see & glad i’m not the only one. Not sure if it makes their day better but it does mine.
I can’t seem to get through to the fantails & other small birds who won’t leave me alone as i’m going up/down a technical trail 
. It’s almost winter so they’re not nesting… I’m the crazy person waving my two running poles above my head hoping they understand

We talk with her all the time and over the year she’s become quite chatty, sometimes while we sleep.

I’ve always talked to any animals I encounter. They are so much smarter than we can imagine, and over time understand many things we say. Have you watched any YouTube videos of the dogs who use ‘word buttons’ to communicate…it’s absolutely amazing how they interact with their humans. Their emotions are extremely close to human emotions, and I’ve always treated them with the respect they deserve.

Absolutely love to talk to pets even though I may look like a crazy person when done outside

this morning i had a lovely convo with a golden who’d run ahead of his dad. i wished him a good morning and asked him if he was having a good walk. he had a sniff around my van and then introduced me to his dad who gave me permission to give him treats.

I certainly talk to my cats as if they were hoomans🤣…and, believe it or not, they actually do answer. So we usually have quite some conversations during a day.
