Dogeration Nation

Hi -

Active animal lovers from Colorado, USA. (Fully vaccinated.) Hoping to settle in Hawaii after traveling the world for two years (mostly New Zealand). (We’re in the Cook Islands at the moment.) Will continue to travel when we can. Probably the best way to get to know us is to read some of the funny stories at Locuto.com – especially “The Art of the Mountain Mutt.”

Favorite animal books? How about DOG SENSE, by John Bradshaw? Or THE DOG WHO WOULDN’T BE by Farley Mowat?

Hi @Dogerator and a big welcome to our community forum and to TrustedHousesitters, thank you for joining us from Hawaii … My bedtime reading will be “The Art Of The Mountain Mutt” I started to read it but it needs feet up and a comfy space, not laptop, office chair and mid morning work mode…

Thank you for both this wonderful introduction and the extremely creative Locuto intro into your lives … we cannot wait to share in your new and exciting TrustedHousesitters adventure, it will make for additional great, bedtime reading.

Enjoy the conversations and connecting with our members around the world.

Yeah, NEVER CRY WOLF is a visceral read – a great book.

Should’ve actually said, “Kia Orana.” The Cook Islanders are sweetly insistent about their greeting, which means, “May you live a long and fulfilling life.” It says everything about them. Posters here and there say, “Show your mana [power, spirit] and say Kia Orana."
