@Mark_B I just read a listing on the app that doesn’t have any sitter reviews. My guess is it’s a new member listing. How can TrustedHousesitters bring in new features to supposedly provide clarity and yet allow a listing with no Amenities section at all? Why isn’t this section mandatory? Or if it is, perhaps it’s yet another system glitch? Please pass along my suggestion that the Amenities section should be made mandatory. I’ve previously suggested that at least the details of the bed(s) should be available. How are sitters expected to know whether it’s a good fit otherwise? Many will just pass by such a listing. The one I viewed shows Low Applications, which is not surprising in this instance. Before moving on to new ideas, perhaps the teams should fix what’s already in place.
Mod note: this discussion has been split off from here.
@Snowbird and @ziggy I’ve seen no Amenities on several listings in the last couple of days also. Definitely far more important than arrival/departure times @Mark_B .
Me too, I’ve seen listings with no amenities, makes me wonder will I even get a bed, so I scroll on. Thinking I could have a side hustle teaching owners to create good listings
Perish the thought that THS might respond to requests for improvements from members. That just doesn’t seem to happen. Meanwhile so called improvements are imposed, before any email notifications are sent out.
