My Dad was a vicar and accepting women priests was quite a hurdle for him. We had a woman priest officiating at our wedding, along with my dear Dad, in 1980.
I’m wondering how he would have come to terms with this latest development.. two new vergers..

Our cat and dog brethren seem a little distracted!
This struck me as interesting. In this photo the baby is being suckled by a goat or possibly a shorn sheep. The milk is more readily digestible than cow’s milk. The baby’s mother hadn’t started lactating yet.
When I was in the UAE I heard that some mother’s gave their babies camel’s milk; high in nutritional value and maybe offering immunity to some diseases?
Amazing that animals can offer us so much, their meat, their skins, and their nourishing milk!
Had a trip into Madrid today and I was surprised to see a passenger on a motorbike not wearing head protective gear.
To be fair the owner wasn’t driving very fast.. one very chilled dog!
