Welcome Jenny! I’m originally from Dublin and live in Canada. We’ve done two wonderful sits in Dublin for the same couple and loved it. We’re hoping to return to sit for them again in July of this year dependent on how COVID restrictions play out. Happy New Year to you too!

Hopefully the restrictions will have lessoned by the Summer and you will make it back home to Dublin. It’s lovely to build a friendship with the same couple and their pets.
I’ve seen some beautiful videos on Youtube about the snow in Canada this Christmas. It looks magical. The rain is bucketing down here in Wexford. The ‘Sunny South East’ is a bit soggy 
Thanks sooooo much for the lovely welcome Angela. Finding this site tonight and joining has really brightened my New Year. Working from home during the pandemic and social distancing was quite a challenge and lonely at times. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and their fur babies in the future.
Your picture of The Hook is stunning. Driving to The Hook feels like the end of the earth as there is only ocean in front of you. Summer is stunning there. But there is something special about Winter walks there. Its invigorating.
Enniscorthy where I live is the only town in Ireland where the Railway runs under the town. The builders were way ahead of there time

I hope you get a trip to Ireland soon. The Summer would be a lovely time 
I was back in September, so fairly recently. It had been 18 months since I saw my parents (in their 80s) before then - long overdue!
