No. Not normal. Out of about 40 sits, we have only been ever asked for our ID about three times. The first was when we didn’t have a car and were going to use the owners. We actually were going to offer up our ID anyways just for legality and a peace of mind. The other two we were asked our last names (we originally thought it was to run a background check on us - which we were fine with…we are off the radar and nothing shows up anyways lol 
But they were actually because they were in highly secured neighborhoods that had security to let all guests in. We had to show our ID every time we entered the property and this was actually our favorite sit of all time! So asking for last names or ID is no problem to us. Any other documents…that would be a big no for us.
