HO only looking for pet sit not house sit?

I recently came across a listing of 15 days sit for Christmas. I applied and the HO told me she only wanted me to do daily check in for her pets (twice a day) and the home won’t be available to live.

I told her that THS is meant to connect people who need pet sit and traveller who need accommodation.

I won’t be able to afford a hotel nearby her neighbourhood while checking her pets twice a day.

Am I correct? Or THS is offering daily pet sit service as well?

Hi @YanTung … no TrustedHousesitters doesn’t permit day care and it sounds like this has slipped through the net or the homeowner hasn’t been upfront about this on the listing.
