I can’t quite believe that 2025 is drawing to a close!
On behalf of the Forum team, I wish you all Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year.
I also wanted to share a huge thank you to all of our members for the insight, curiosity, and good humour you bring here. The conversations, shared experiences, and willingness to help one another are what keep this space so active and enjoyable to read. Whether you’re a regular poster or you just pop in from time to time, your presence makes a difference and doesn’t go unnoticed.
I’ll be out of the office from 2025-12-23T17:00:00Z until 2026-01-05T09:00:00Z but @Mark_B, @Therese, @Sam_F and @Maeve will be around if you need help with anything.
Hope you all have the most lovely festive season. Feel free to share what you’re up to in the replies, especially if you’ve any photos!
Right now, our dog is barking up a storm, because of a coyote(s) outside, making a ruckus. And it’s not daylight yet. But I take the good with the bad, because we’re lucky to live where nature is beautiful and there are still enough spaces for wildlife.
We’re happy to be relaxing and snuggling at home after a bunch of travel. And we’ve got Christmas dinner ordered, so we will be lucky to feast without doing a bunch of work.
Later, we’ll take a road trip in our RV. Destination TBD, which is one of the terrific things about such trips, because you can wing things.
Right now, I’m debating whether to head over to a James Beard award-winning bakery and try to get there early, before a line forms. They’re slated to close for a stretch, so the line probably will be worse than usual. But if I take our dog, he’ll have fun, too, because he loves outings.
We were out over the weekend, hanging out in wine country near us. There are bougie neighborhoods where you can drink at many tasting rooms, buy treats to spoil your dog with and more. We love being within easy driving distance.
Happy holidays to the forum team! I learn so much from this forum and therefore appreciate it! I don’t see any other platform doing this. You guys do a great job even when misdirected anger is thrown your way. Have a wonderful time with family and friends with your much deserved rest from the forum, ha. To a healthy and happy 2026 to all!
Happy Christmas Jenny and forum team. Thank you for everything you do for us. All the best for a happy new year.
I’m in Exmouth until Sunday, with an Anatolian Shepherd Dog called Storm. He’s a gentle giant.
Not really buying that … this family owned Brighton business is losing confidence with many members forgetting the quality of true wellbeing of pets. Very sad we were pressed into accepting TOS in order to comment/share opinions. Seriously thinking of not renewing.
If there’s any specific concerns you want to discuss with other members, feel free to start a new post (unless one already exists, I recommend using the search function at the top right!), or if it’s account-based, you can always reach out to Membership Services.
Just to reassure you, agreeing to the terms of service when joining any forum is very common and expected across most online communities. They’re generally just outlining community rules and legal basics.
