Most sitters sit only sporadically and others aren’t necessarily available. No one is forced to respond, because people use the site voluntarily and differ in how they do it. Your best bet is to make your listing appealing enough to attract applicants. If you’re not sure how to do that, you can add your listing for feedback from forum members, many of whom are experienced sitters.
