Our charge is convinced that 5:30 a.m. is the ideal breakfast time! Thankfully, they will settle to waiting until 7:00 a.m., when their owner usually feeds them—while quietly trying their luck in the hope that these sitters don’t know the routine and can be persuaded to provide an earlier breakfast. 
7am when the HO’s Radio alarm came on in another bedroom …. I had to hunt it down 
I am the opposite. Getting up around 5 and getting the animals on a very early schedule.
Or just get up feed if it’s cats and back to bed that’s what I did on a sit.
Would do , but the cat has thyroid medicine which has to be at specific times and intervals.
