I just discovered 2 cameras. I definitely exposed myself. How to handle?

I try to avoid it, even if the home is dirty but the last petsit was beyond terrible.

@Petstuff

Your post is slightly confusing, can you elaborate?

I’m totally confused by your post. The title doesn’t seem to have anything to do with what you have wrote. If cameras are inside the home just unplug the cameras, the HO probably just forgot to unplug them in the rush to get organised for going away. But I’m confused by what you have written.

What? Please clarify.

I sometimes don’t get fully dressed after showers, etc. I discovered there were cameras all over the home after dark when they had green lights on that were obvious at night but not other times during the day. I was walking around without being fully dressed, after the fact. Hope that clears up the confusion. Water under the bridge but not ok.

If they are all over the house then they could be more likely to be sensors rather than cameras, unless you are in a dodgier neighbourhood.

Are you sure they are cameras? We have a home security system and if you walk past a sensor a light shows. It is not recording.
The motion sensors activate the alarm only when the system is switched on when we leave the property.
If in doubt ask the homeowner about the lights as internal cameras are definitely not allowed.

I would scrutinize these green lights in the morning and if you confirm that they look like cameras, communicate with the Owner and ASK if they are internal cameras.

Internal cameras are never allowed on THS Sits.

Which can be difficult to see. It is common that there is a camera at the top of the laptop screen, but it is hardly visible. That is the camera that one uses for video chats. When the webcam is activated, typically a little green indicator light comes on. This does not mean that someone else is watching, does not mean that anything is recorded.

But there are so many little green indicator lights for all kinds of chargers etc.

Of course, when someone wants to do voyeurism, there is no green light.
