Is there a Computer Whizz in the house ? Help please!

When logging on to the THS website on my computer, I cannot “see” some photos. There are odd spaces and text error messages where the photos should be. This happens on all pages I click into - the first screen showing the latest sits, favourites, current, upcoming or past sits etc. Some listings show all the photos perfectly ok, and other listings have some photos that I can “see” and others that I cannot. I have already had a long chat with someone on the helpdesk who couldn’t “see” what I could see when she went into my account, whose only suggestion was to clear out all my cached cookies etc which I did, but it didn’t help. I have tried logging in to THS via a different search engine and that doesn’t help either. I know that I have had a few other issues since installing Windows 11 (who hasn’t), but this is really frustrating. I spend all day on my computer – but must consult the app on my mobile if I want to see any pictures of a potential sit. Sorry, bit long-winded. Has anyone got any suggestions ? Do links work? IOW, what happens when you click on the invisible image?
Can you see any pattern in which pictures fail to load?

Do links work? IOW, what happens when you click on the invisible image? Link (from favourites, takes me to the actual listing like it should - with greyed out pictures. When I click on a past sit it takes me to the sit page (sit complete) that looks like the screenshot below.

This sounds like a browser issue.

Have you tried incognito mode? If not, test it.
Have you tried another browser? If not, test it.
Do you experience the same issues on other websites, or is it exclusive to THS?

When images fail to load, it is usually caused by a corrupted browser cache, conflicting extensions, or strict privacy and tracking settings. Microsoft Edge is particularly aggressive with the latter.

I would suggest you clear all cached images and files
And then set the browser to the defaults to eliminate accidental (or otherwise) faulty settings/permissions that block the images from loading

Thanks for your help and suggestions @August. The same thing happens incognito and via another browser. This only happen with the THS website - no others at all.

In such a case, it must be a network/DNS issue and/or corrupted site data.

  1. Clear cached data again - Ctrl + Shift + Delete (at the same time), select Cookies and other site data" and “Cached images and files”
  2. Do a hard reboot - press and hold the power button for 10-20 seconds

If it doesn’t work, do it again. And again.
