Has anyone in the Beta test been able to confirm an overlapping sit yet ?
We are pretty much fully booked this year so haven’t had the chance to try it out yet
Yes, we have just booked an overlap. We have one sit that finishes on 19th July and the next one starts on 18th July. Both HO’s know and everyone is happy. The only difference for us is that the HO’s on our first sit are actually returning on the 18th. So, we can both leave together rather than one of us staying behind.
None turned up yet, unfortunately. Have a tight gap to fill here in Spain, so maybe soon.
I was really hoping to make it into the Beta group. I didn’t get a denial or confirmation, just nothing. I really hope they expand the test group because my partner and I would not only use it, but give substantial feedback because we care about the platform.

is the trial still open ? My wife and i sit regularly in major cities and would love to be able to book and manage small overlaps in the same region.
For example we are just about to go to Hong Kong for 5 weeks and missed out on a three week extension because of a two day overlap. We could easily have discussed and managed this with both owners.
I would prefer that the system makes the situation explicitly clear to all three parties - i.e ongoing owner, outgoing owner and sitters
P.s. we love THS as it has changed our retired lives. We have travelled extensively, met great people and pets so have nothing but positivity
Would be great if we could get hold of some THS business cards to leave behind and let the owner share with their friends or put up at work. Do you have something we could download and print off ?

Unfortunately, the BETA application closed a few months ago for this feature.
Existing members of the BETA have recently been sent surveys as we continue to develop, improve based on member feedback.
This is amazing to hear! We hear so many stories about THS enhancing people’s lives; enabling a nomadic lifestyle, jet setting or providing a greater sense of freedom.
As far as I’m aware, there aren’t business cards. However, check out this link with more info about how to refer a friend - including the rewards available.

I was intrigued by the idea and carried on the discussion with colleagues at THS, there are some older forum discussions related to a similar ‘business card’ topic here and here.
We also have this page which includes a design and other useful source material.
Credit to Angela at THS for pointing me in the right direction.
Not that I know of, but if there was a demand I’d never say never.
As part of the Beta Group we can overlap sits by one day, which we have done successfully. But prior to that we’ve always been able to book sits that start on the same day that our current sit finishes. But now if we want to do that THS count this as an overlap, which includes emailing both homeowners to inform them of this. Annoyingly, we then have to assure the homeowners that this is NOT an overlap and that we will both be travelling together to and from the sits. It must be so confusing for the homeowners. And very frustrating for us. Eg: we have a sit finishing on the 4th August and have applied for a sit starting 4th August. This is not an overlap! This is normal.
Could you include a brief explanation in your application regarding your participation in the beta group? This seems like a short-term solution, but hopefully your feedback to the beta program manager will allow them to improve on the current system.

I do include a brief explanation in my application. So that when they receive the email from THS they know what it means.
And I’ve already completed the feedback survey about the Beta Group, but that was before this glitch. Oh well, I’m sure it will be sorted out soon ![]()
Unless sthey fix this well be asking they remove the overlap functionality entirely. We missed out on an overlapping sit during the trial and Im pretty positive it was because of all the over the top messaging. I’d hate to be missing out on back to back sits because of this as well.
Wow, I didn’t realise that. It could potentially make an owner lose faith in their sitter before their sit even begins.
That definitely needs fixing if they decide to roll it out. I’m glad you were able to explain things to both sets of owners.
