Just For Giggles

I met with the pet parents of a recent sit to review meal prep. Dog-Dad says, “Just 1 level scoop of food at meal time please”, while Dog-Mom leans it and whispers to me, “I give him more” :see_no_evil_monkey: :hear_no_evil_monkey: :speak_no_evil_monkey: I thought to myself good thing their dog can’t talk otherwise I’d have 3 different versions of meal time! :joy:  It made me smile, hope it makes you smile too.

@Gratitude, fabulous and suspect very common.

We’ve come across pet parent confessions - in terms of foods and exercise - on a surprising number of housesits. As your story, sometimes it’s very specific food routines that we discover are regularly supplemented by hot dogs or all sorts of human foods :exploding_head:. Or exercise where one owner indicates untrue time/distance seemingly to suggest to partner that they regularly spend long time walking the dog. Never a dull day!

Hope that you continue to see the entertainment in human aspects of pets

“Pet Parent Confessions” = What a brilliant book title!!! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: GotYourBack this experience brings me back to my Parent Teacher Conferences when parents of students seemed to have two completely different perspectives. Sometimes I wondered if they were talking about the same child? Holy hot dogs!

Should take them as an example. We worked hard in the garden and were suppervised. :joy:

Omgosh this made my day! Sidewalk supervisors! Beautiful yardwork by the way!!!

Thank you. We enjoy the garden and of course our babies.

Just curious, when digging in the garden, how often do you discover “nuggets”?

Growing up, there were always sandboxes in the playground. I wonder how many times I scooped, grabbed, and/or tossed nuggets. Anytime I see a sandbox, all I can think of is - communal litterbox.

 Thank you TheEnglishFlaneur :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Hilarious (and kinda spot on)
