It sounds as if you are sending private invitations to sitters. If that is the case, it is not the correct way to use THS. Sending private invitations is best used when you are sending a pre-agreed invite to a sitter who has cared for your pets before.
Other than that, it really is a last resort and has a very low success rate.
The correct way is to create the best listing possible, giving lots of information about your home, area and pet , including plenty of good photographs to tempt sitters. - then wait for the sitters to contact you.
You can add your listing to your profile on this forum if you want experienced sitters to take a look for you and see if they can give you any advice on hoe you can improve it
