Let's play a game - The A to Z of pets

Hello everyone!

Many of our fab Forum members have been dedicated to Trusted Housesitters for years, and we thought it would be fun to put your knowledge to the test with a word game based on pets and pet sitting!

Here’s how it works:

Starting with the letter A and then moving through each letter of the alphabet (or should I say… alphapet??), comment with a word for each letter that’s related to your pet-sitting experiences. If you’re a pet parent, your word might be linked to your pet or a memorable experience with a sitter.

If someone has already posted a word for a letter, feel free to add your word as a reply to their comment.

Let’s keep the game going until we reach Z!

I’ll start us off: A is for… animals!

Have fun, everyone!

Jenny

  • Gorgeous, for the appearance of Siberian sit cats.

  • Hangry, for two hilarious sit cats who’d nip at your ankles if you didn’t feed them quickly enough.

  • Independent, for a sweet sit dog who liked to get her way.

  • Jealous, for two year-old pups at separate sits who got upset if the cats received any attention.

  • Kind, for a sit cat who’d gently “comb” my hair in bed, because he liked getting brushed on his head and face and seemed to think I’d enjoy it, too.
