Hi, I had a terrible sit at the end of October in Kent, UK. I submitted a complaint after the 2 week window for leaving the review. I did this as the Owner had two live sit requests live on their page. After I left the review the pet owner contacted me very late at night on my mobile. She then left me a very long and rude Whats App message. 5 days later her husband then contacted me - I’d never even met him - and he offered me money. Which I did not accept. I don’t know why they offered me it. I certainly didn’t ask them for money. They seemed very concerned by the woman’s reputation as she was a GP, and his as he is quite high profile in the academic/government/medical world. There was no mention of the concern for the animals or the squalor in the house. It was all really weird. Anyway, I submitted my complaint as per the correct process and how it was explained to me here, and I haven’t heard, it was nearly 3 weeks ago now. Any ideas what to do. I can see that the Owner has pared down the page, taken off the live sit dates, completely reduced the animals listed down to one gecko, no pictures of the house, and no descriptions. I presume she is intending on resurrecting it at some point. Any advice on what to do? My review is there so hopefully that would put people off doing the sit anyway. I’m completly shocked that THS would not respond to such a terrible sit and complaint. Thanks.

I’ve had a look and managed to find some emails you’d exchanged with Membership Services, and the last contact I’ve been able to see is when one of our Team Leaders contacted you with information about how to make a complaint.
I’ve asked him to look into what’s happening and to see if the complaint has been received, and you should hear from Membership Services directly.
If I hear anything more I’ll pop back and let you know.

If you raised a member dispute and submitted evidence ( photos , screenshots of messages etc ) the investigation can take up to four weeks . But during that time the members account is usually suspended so maybe that’s why you can’t see the details .
Did you call your complaint a member dispute ?
If not re- submit the evidence by e-Mail with the title Member Dispute that will trigger a proper investigation by THS.

No I can definitely still see her account, she’s just pared it down, just put one photo up, taken all the animals off except the Gecko and only put her name, and the village name, that’s it, you can still see my review so its not been suspended. She also hasn’t got her face anymore as ID photo, she’s put a puppy. She’s done the same on her Whats app. Its all really weird.
Thanks for letting me know I can’t see that specific email, but it might be because it’s a Complaint, but I’ve had a reply from the person you were last emailing with to confirm that they will have a look at this for me and get back to you.
