I’m going to have to find a house sit in Brighton before long as I have an interesting story! I was contacted last year by a young fellow who lives in Brighton as I was his closest match on Ancestry and we wondered our connection. We’ve been corresponding over the last year as my father was adopted in Dublin and never knew his birth parents and the young fellow in Brighton’s mom was also adopted. He was an absolute sleuth on Ancestry. To make a long story short, his grandfather and my grandmother were brother and sister and he was able to find out who my grandmother was and sent me her birth certificate. So I now have a family of second cousins in Brighton who I just found this year and our goal is to meet up!
