Please do read my original post and note that I say ‘I DO NOT intend to ask HOs’ the implication being that I won’t be taking my horns (see photo of said horns and their size and my further comment) also my reply to a similar ‘assumption’ about my intentions written within this thread.

@BonnyinBrighton totally agree. Too many only read half a topic’s thread before commenting, which eventually causes the actual topic to spiral out of control so good on you for commenting on that. I did the same recently.

Tbh I have had some excellent advice outside of this thread when I asked the same question on a FB Saxophone forum. The suggestions included: playing my horn in my car, going busking locally 
, renting time in local rehearsal rooms, or contacting a school/church to see if I could practise there…. all really great ideas. I think if I were to agree to do a long sit say a month or more I might follow up on these suggestions.
