I totally agree about the change in “community” feel, which is why I don’t find sitters on this site anymore.
Last year I had a sitter lined up. While talking, she was complaining about the host for her upcoming sit, told me that she canceled, then blocked the owner’s phone # to avoid arguing.
I said that was a messed up thing to do, so then she did the exact same thing to me! And she has over a dozen reviews, all 5-stars, no way for anyone to know.
