Need help from THS

I need to reach someone at THS about cancelling a sit. The host is unable to do it because she’s tied up with her sick husband at the hospital. She’s asked me to contact
THS to cancel it for her. So it’s complicated. The little chat bot couldn’t help me. Hoping a real person can solve this for us.

Go back to the chatbot and tell it you want to talk to a human. Then a human will hop on or if humans aren’t on duty then they’ll get back to you later.

If your host has agreed to cancel your sit, have your screen shot ready so you can prove that to THS. If you don’t have such, then THS will need to contact your host for confirmation.

Alternatively, you can email your proof to membership services and ask them to cancel: support@trustedhousesitters.com.

If you already confirmed a sit then only the PP can take action. She just needs to un confirm you.

If the host messaged the sitter about canceling and the sitter has proof, THS will cancel. But they won’t without proof.

I had a similar situation, the chatbot said no agent was available, so they would reply by email within 24 hours. They did not. A week later, I followed up with a chatbot and was again told they would follow up by email, but they did not. After two weeks, I called the urgent number, and they didn’t seem surprised and were very helpful.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I emailed THS yesterday evening and got a reply this morning. They canceled the sit based on the screen shot of the text conversation with the host.
