Night owl or morning person?

Not as bad as when I was in Scotland and I don’t think the sun EVER went down, or it felt like it! It was like 18 hours a day of daylight :face_with_spiral_eyes::face_with_spiral_eyes:

Been in the Outer Hebrides in mid Summer and its amazing, lots of daylight and not much dark. Absolute perfection.
Also means more time to get bitten by the Scottish midge!

I wasn’t prepared for the sunlight hours and didn’t know about it before arrival - soon found out! We are a protected species in Oz :rofl: Was like having permanent jetlag! Had to use my eye mask eventually. Aagh the dreaded midgies, we have them also, horrible little blighters!

We asked a local why sheep lay on the side of the road, he explained it was so the blast of air from passing vehicles temporarily blew the midges away from the sheep

Well there you go! Live and learn, or maybe a typical Scottish tall story :joy:

Possibly :grin::grin:

I was definitely a night owl when I was younger, and still like to take things slowly on a morning when I get the chance. However I don’t seem to be able to sleep much later than 8am even when I try, and I’m ready for my bed before my teenage sons are.

This is so me in school term time
