It seems like scrolling down on the forum now leads the website to populate subsequent replies automatically, instead of showing a page 1, 2 … last page navigation as is standard. If this is an option I can change, how do I do it? The auto scroll is super unhelpful
I’ve never seen it with pagination. Only auto load on scroll.

I double-checked this with Discourse (the Forum platform provider) as I’ve only ever known the Forum to use infinity scrolling, and they confirmed that Discourse has always used infinity scrolling rather than page-to-page navigation.
From what I’ve read online, there have been requests for Discourse to provide more traditional pagination, but it sounds like this would involve Discourse changing the core architecture of their Forum platform, so it’s currently not an option as they’ve preferred to focus on the infinity scrolling model.
Perhaps you have already noticed that you can quickly get to the bottom of the responses by moving the light blue bar to the right of the posts?
