I keep an eye out for interesting articles about pets & thought i’d share them when I do.
I faced the same situation and my vet came home on the 12th of june to avoir further more sufferings for Nuage . Lung cancer discovered last march. It was terrible to know the vet would come at lunch time. At 9 we knew we had only 4 hours left with him. At 10, 3. At 11 , 2…
Nuage’s head was on my knees. I sat on the ground. The vet made 2 injections. One for him to sleep. The second to make his heart stop.
I closed his eyes.
The vet took him. His ashes were sent back to the vet a few days later. They are still near us. Very present. Too much. Near former pets ashes…
I could not read this article until the end
It’s a choice we can make for our pets unfortunately so far we can’t for human beings. I always wonder why what is considered a help, a sign of non selfishness is a crime for humans.
What a wonderful article most of us can relate on. I had a similar experience with Cadeau , our little poodle. Before I had to bring him to the vet, I cooked him a trout fillet that he ate.
Thank you for sharing.
Instead of depressing articles, I give you Jimmy Rees. May you discover all of his vids and giggle the day away
Well this article is depressing too.
How people can resell their puppy?
For sure a puppy makes a lot of mess (personnally i had forgotten my last 2 dogs were rescue and older) but you have to enquiry BEFORE. A dog is not a garment you bring back If it does not fit…
I thought something like this may happen when I first heard of folks adopting or buying pets during the first lockdown here in Oz last year.
More than sad… & yet again our throw away society shines…

If you know Springers … @Petermac
I lost one in the Cairngorms a few years ago. He was gone for about 48 hours, eventually made his way to the first house on the road, had my phone number on his tag, so after a big bowl of soup from the owner, he was fine.
It was up near Ryvoan Bothy.
So lucky Petermac
What a lovely story
