Pets on the bed

Some hosts say that their dogs like to sleep on the bed. As sitters we all know what this really means eh?:rofl:

Ha! Love the cartoon and so true.
Just a critique comment to Hosts…
if your dog/s always sleep on the bed with you then they will possibly (99.999%)want to sleep on the bed of the Sitters (or as we had on one Sit, it was right between the covers on our feet!!).
It is not feasible nor indeed fair to all to suggest shutting the door against them nor relocating them to another room, as this does NOT work… our 50+ appointments with much pooch care in that time has proven this!
Yes, I do ask on the pre Sit chat but invariably, the Host says the pet will sleep ‘anywhere’.
We’ve adapted many times as that’s just part of the minor challenges of Housesitting… most are okay although we were a tight fit with two adult humans and two 65kg+ Newfies ( and just a double not Queen nor King size bed!!).

I mostly sit dogs and they have mostly slept with me. Since I am alone, it doesn’t bother me, except when they sleep on the pillows. If they keep waist down, I am OK with that.
