The latest TrustedHousesitters blog has an impressive list of the most popular American cat breeds according to Cat Fanciers’ Association - let’s see how our house sitting experiences compare.
Tell us which breeds you’ve looked after, and for owners… those that are or have been part of your family. I’ve added a very obvious missing “favorite breed” that many of us are familiar with (top of this list)
If breeds are beyond you (even as a cat lover I’ve had to look several up!!) don’t worry, click the link to the article below for some lovely photos to make you feel all cat cozy and see which ones you recognise from your cat cuddling moments

@Karen_E Another good use for an iPhone is that it will tell you the breed when you take a photo. I just took a photo of your photo and this is what it displayed:
Pet sitting has changed my view on cats COMPLETELY, I really did believe they were such independent creatures that we mere humans were put on this earth simply to be their servants … as the saying goes.
However years of “sitting” have taught me that could not be farther from the truth, of course there are exceptions but that applies to all creatures, great small and human.
One of my biggest feline crushes was Miss Izzy, the most PURRFECT Burmese she stole my heart and when she passed took a little of my heart with her …
Whilst I was the owner of a beautiful Siamese and she really was my baby, some of my highlights on sits were with Gingers, Black and White and 2 gorgeous Norwegian Forest Cats.
