Hi I accepted 2 sits, and only afterwards and an initial sit did the PP mention a list of conditions not mentioned in the listing including an agent and perspective buyers who will be coming and going at a 3 week sit.
Obviously they were testing the waters and it’s about how they can get what they want out of others.
I told the of the 3rd Party Policy and declined the next sit. I felt manipulated.
Now they are reviewing applications for my replacement without updating the listing to reflect their - showhome demands.
Doesn’t feel honest at all – they were warned. Feedback appreciated. Thanks!
@GentleSitter you can (if you choose )report it to member services

include screenshots of messages where the homeowner advised you about the third parties .
It should be clearly stated in their listing that their house is ON THE MARKET and you will need to keep it “show ready” and vacate the premises whenever there needs to be a showing, which will require that you coordinate with the realtor or homeowner during your stay.
Obviously, they need a paid sitter, not a free sitter!
Also, what if something gets broken or goes missing? Who is to blame, with other people wandering all over the house?
I have 2 days left to review. That’s why I popped over here.
I felt they violated my trust because I did a week trial sit to land the 3 week summer sit only to find it came with this catch. And only after investing several hundreds of £ to be a sufficient emergency vet driver in a foreign country.
Explain that in your review @GentleSitter but do quickly get it written, especially where they are advertising for the dates you declined so that prospective applicants can read it.
