Sorry, no, I can’t. I spotted it as I was walking through Chichester while on a cat sit near there, and it was some 9 years ago so may have even been painted over since then.
I had a look online @crookie - it’s at West Pallant - which is just around the corner from the Pallant House Gallery - though it looks like the gallery is closed in November. ![]()
Thanks @Jenny I’m planning on going to that gallery in December so will look out for the street art
Brilliant! Do report back - I’d love to hear about the gallery - and if you managed to find the street art!
I’m currently in the Canterbury region of New Zealand, and I’ve noticed the lack of creativity - that is, there seems to be zero street art. There is a deadening sameness to everything. People are happy and courteous here, but I’m told there’s something called the tall poppies syndrome - it’s not socially acceptable to make yourself stand out. If I come across any street art or signs of individuality, good or bad, I’ll post it.
Thanks so much for your reply. I’ll be visiting Christchurch before I go home and I will look for that street art.
Street art is scattered round the Waimak/Canterbury/South Canterbury areas & you need to know where to look. Have you been through Waimate? Nice wee stop between Dunedin & Chch with some good bakeries/cafes plus some murals. Timaru has some by the train station or up towards coffee culture. Many of the electircal cabinet boxes in Ashburton & Rangiora as well-waimakiriri.govt.nz
