In Waterford, Ireland
These are so cool!
Hi @wendy_chicago I had no idea there are so many amazing works of art on the buildings in Waterford. We have only just discovered the Waterford Walls, I have attached a link.
Cool. I was just sitting near that neighborhood and posted the first cat higher up, LOL.
We call this Silo Art and there are examples of this all throughout Australia, mainly on wheat silos etc and in small, country towns. This is on a communications tower in Queensland showing an Australian Defence Force Serviceman (a Digger) with the Oz flag behind. All the silo art is handpainted.
John Lennon wall in Prague - great wander thru old streets
This entire thread has been a JOY to read through! I love graffiti. I’m inspired to dig out my old photos and see if I can find the photos I took in Brighton around 2017. So much creativity!
Don’t have pix, but if you are on an NYC sit, you should check out Welling Court in Astoria.
There’s a lot of good street art in Sacramento. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics but a local resident Linda Sabella did 2 books of the art and occasionally does walking tours as do other organisations.
You can also get similar tours in other cities and it’s a good way to see a city from a different perspective.
