Wall murals downtown Blackheath, New South Wales, Australia are vibrant!

We call this Silo Art and there are examples of this all throughout Australia, mainly on wheat silos etc and in small, country towns. This is on a communications tower in Queensland showing an Australian Defence Force Serviceman (a Digger) with the Oz flag behind. All the silo art is handpainted.

There’s a lot of good street art in Sacramento. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics but a local resident Linda Sabella did 2 books of the art and occasionally does walking tours as do other organisations.
You can also get similar tours in other cities and it’s a good way to see a city from a different perspective.
