I don’t understand why a cleaner comig should prevent you from using the kitchen and eating. I simply carryn on rtegardless. Ad I have found that cleaners usually start upstairs in the bedrooms first and work down. If she had arrived whilst you were still preparing a meal you would have had plenty of time to finish preparing and eating. The cleaner could easily have left the kitchen until last. I have always found that cleaners have had their owns keys though, so have never been tied to the house.

It was a small, one story home, and I do agree it was my fault that I put off using the kitchen to prepare food. I could have, I just would’ve felt weird if they showed up while I was in the middle of cooking. Totally on me though. And they did not have a key so I couldn’t just leave.
