My “standard sitter” membership will renew in May. My plan was to upgrade to premium at that time. I have recently booked 3 sits for this summer. My understanding was the booking fee would charge me when I do the sit, but someone told me no, it charges when you confirm the sit. Is this a fact? if yes, then if I were to upgrade my membership today, can I get those booking fees back?
If the sits were confirmed before your membership renewed then you should not have been charged any fees .
The booking fees only apply for sits that are confirmed after you renew your membership .

Fee is, if at all, charged as a part of the confirmation process. So, quick, hoard some more sits for the time after May ![]()

With the new THS T&Cs in mind, we will cover the Sitters Fee - and we would never expect you to pay our vet’s fees in advance.

^That is a cheap and easy way to spring confidence and trust in sitters, well done that host.
