Sounds perfectly polite to me, unless you were both being sarcastic
This image says it all…
Maybe, but I responded since people here suggested that I do. Oh well, probably never sit for her ever.
Well, I said the same thing to another HO and she said Thank you, she would keep me in mind for another sit.
It’s like a drive by ghosting!
It’s the sleeping that would bother me with a puppy I’d definitely need to ask about how many hours sleep you can get? What time it goes to bed, does it need to be let out during the night to pee, how toilet trained it is…… having experienced severe sleep deprivation during a recent 10 day puppy sit I’m very wary now. And yes I had previous experience of sitting puppies… but this one wore me out.
I’d be concerned about chewing, not just furniture but electric cables too.
I sat two 5 month old puppies in Fl in March, in an RV. It was 2nd sit and I really wanted a sit in FL at that time. They were crated during the night. I am good with that kind of thing. I sat a small 18 yo dog that did get me up a couple of times. I am a light sleeper, so I wake easily. And I could just let him out for a bit. Not my favorite, but when I am looking for sits for a certain timeframe in a certain area, I booked early to ensure it worked for me. When I am more flexible, when I have more time to look at options, then I can withdraw or not apply. I only have 3 sits done. I have 6 booked through mid Jan. So hopefully, I get more attractive sits going forward.
