Pet Parent arriving home 10 days early would have some housesitters venting on THS Forum! But you assessed situation and made a proactive decision. Other challenges sound tough too.

Suggest that you do not visit Greece. We know a number of Pet Parents there that swore never to have pets again but then found themselves caring, as pets or otherwise, for a collection of cats! (strays are widespread)
