THS was attacked yesterday, with various members receiving scam messages. So THS is being careful while it figures how to mitigate. To protect your contact info, you can easily set up a new email address. Edited to meet posting guidelines

@Zeefriend An update was published on another thread yeaterday which included the following… “We’ve temporarily removed the ability to share website links within the messaging functionality. We will be reintroducing this once we have completed a review of this functionality.”

Now that I know why this is happening (thanks to other sitters) I wonder why I was told by TH: “rest assured that there is nothing to be concerned about” (from whose perspective? Is there a gaslit emoji?) “and regularly audit our platform” (this implies it is business as usual, when it is def not.)…

What kind of scam messages did members get? I didn’t get anything.
