They are fine. Apparently been doing this for years. No idea why the HO won’t get the fence fixed properly though

Please don’t take offense?
I had a pre visit for a sit in January and there are two extremes in this sit. I have a blind dog so I mustn’t leave anything out on the floor for it to trip over. Fine. no problem.
At the other end of the scale I have a springy Labradoodle who is a two year old pup Houdini Hound by all accounts.ā€. when you let the dogs out in the garden, go with them! Keep him on the lead as much as you can.. I have got an electric fence installed…but we are off grid… ā€œ
ā€œ please keep the electric gates shut or the wild boar will be in!ā€
This is developing into a disaster movie I don’t want to be starring in in the New Year. I’m thinking danger money applies!
I should have asked?
Is he a digger?
Hopefully many happy returns! The blind leading the blind?

Fatal attraction? It’s 3 days! What can possibly go wrong?

Seriously, I don’t know about the wild boar there, but the ones I was taught to avoid while growing up could be vicious and cause fatalities. Be careful on whether to go forward with this sit.

Years ago during a sleepless night I stumbled upon a reality TV show about wild boars in Florida. It haunts me still

Yes I have a wild boar story too. On my way back from an early trip to take friends to the airport in Madrid a wild boar family crossed my path on their way to the reservoir for water.
Lost the number plate and I got a big dent in
the old Volvo.
When I got it to the garage the mechanic said I’d been lucky not to have the boar in the passenger seat and no windscreen!
Luckily I wasn’t going fast but boar just shot off so hopefully wasn’t injured!
Spanish tales!

The hot water tank sprung a leak on our last morning. Choices, choices …

Turn the water off so there is no more damage to the wooden floors and walls or clean the kitchen then turn the water off. We chose turn the water off.

WRONG!!!

Lost a star on the review for a kitchen that wasn’t clean enough. Can’t win …..

That’s so tough! I’d have done the same.
I’m Welsh so leeks in the kitchen are always welcome. Any other leaks… no thank you!
